Hampton Coffee Company's popular 100% premium Direct Trade Hawaii Kona coffee is back in stock in our cafés and at our webstore. Kona has been very scarce in 2012 due to a worldwide shortage of the green beans from Hawaii because of bad weather. We roast our Kona very carefully and in very small batches to preserve all the flavor and aroma that make this coffee among the world’s most treasured. We source our Kona direct from John and his family-owned Langenstein Farm on the southwest coast of The Big Island of Hawaii. Kona is fabulously rich in aroma, medium-bodied, with a hint of cinnamon and cloves. This coffee is grown on volcanic slopes, with mineral rich soils in very small crops, surrounded by other tropical crops like the Hawaiian Macadamia Nut. In the afternoons the coffee trees are shaded by clouds that protect them from the sun while a mist of tropical rains drench the thirsty crop.
You can find our small batch, hand-roasted Hawaii Kona and Hampton Kona Blend coffee varieties in our webstore. Perfect for gift-giving!
