Hampton Coffee Opens Café In Aquebogue

Hampton Coffee Opens Café In Aquebogue

Posted on January 17, 2016 to News, Photos, Videos

Hampton Coffee Company has opened it's fourth espresso bar & café in Aquebogue, one of the easternmost hamlets in the Town of Riverhead, and the gateway to the North Fork.  We opened on Sunday, January 17, 2016, with a full day of excited crowds welcoming our community-focused company to our new neighborhood.  We are proud to have repurposed and preserved a 1940s-era garage/service station while at the same time updating it to be a Green Café featuring LED lighting, Energy Star equipment, permeable parking lot material, and full local single-stream recycling of our waste.

The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce held a fun and welcoming ribbon-cutting in front of the new location to officially announce our opening.  We were so proud to be supported at the event by several Riverhead Town Councilpeople who presented company owners Jason & Theresa Belkin with an Official Proclaimation from the Town as well as several Chamber of Commerce Officials and other dignataries including Suffolk County Legislator Bridget Fleming who represents Hampton Coffee Company's headquarters in Southampton and was also there on behalf of North Fork County Legislator Al Krupski.  The Grand Opening of our Aquebogue location benefited the local nonprofit organization HUGS, which helps pre-teens and teens make positive decisions and take leadership positions in their lives.

"The new Aquebogue espresso bar and café is our first location outside of The Hamptons and our first on the North Fork," said Hampton Coffee Company co-owner Jason Belkin.  "We are so excited to be opening here, our fans have been asking us for years to come to the other East End fork.  There is a strong farm-to-table emphasis here, so we will fit right in with our local hand-roasted coffee; fresh bakery; homemade breakfast, lunch and snacks; and local staff."  In addition, the majority of Hampton Coffee Company's goods and supplies come from fellow Eastern Long Island purveyors.

The Aquebogue café will feature all of the Hampton Coffee favorites like our popular scones baked-on-premises, Hampton Classic Blend coffee, and a selection of our fresh homemade breakfast and lunch food.  Breakfast selections include made-to-order real Irish Oatmeal, two different housemade yogurt parfaits, and cage-free egg sandwiches.  And freshly-grilled panini, wraps, and salads for lunch.  The North Fork outpost will have its own signature coffee blend, Organic North Fork Blend, available by the cup and by the pound, as well as a coffee “Bean Bar” where coffee connoisseurs can scoop their own beans and create their own blends from a selection of our just-roasted varieties.

Starting hours will be 6am-6pm, staying open later in the summer.  As soon as the weather turns warmer, enjoy city-style sidewalk seating in front and picnic table seating in the farm fields out back.  Hampton Coffee Company is kid- and pet-friendly and offers free Wi-Fi for customers.  We are proud to be part of our community in each of the communities where we have our local cafés and have been active supporters of Peconic Hospital and North Fork Community Theatre here in the Riverhead area for years already before opening.
