This Earth Week, Hampton Coffee Company is proud to announce that our coffee bean packaging is now sustainable. Both the one pound bags we sell in our cafés and the 10oz pouches we sell to our wholesale partners like supermarkets are now made with post-consumer recycled materials (PCR) from Biopouches.
What's great about this is that our PCR bags are made with materials that have been previously used and thrown out. Biopouches recycles what essentially was going to be trash into new bags which promotes sustainability and reduces landfill waste.
In addition to Hampton Coffee's coffee bean bags being made with PCR, they are also "mono-layer" -the bag, the valve, and the zipper are all made with the same type of plastic. This means that they are easier to recycle once again.
