Connecting With Partners in Honduras

Hampton Coffee Company’s Roasting Team recently traveled to origin in Central America to visit their Direct Trade Coffee partners in Honduras.  The six day trip was organized by Cereza Coffee, which connects farmers with small coffee roasters like Hampton Coffee, ensuring that coffee farmers get paid a fair price for their green beans and the Roasters’ customers get to enjoy amazing coffee.

We're Roastin' !! -With A New Roaster

Hampton Coffee Company's Roasting Team welcomed a new coffee roasting machine to its Southampton Roastery earlier this year!  After lots of research the Team chose a roaster from Loring Smart Roast.  Besides being very energy efficient and environmentally sound, it was important to HCC to choose a "Made In The USA" machine.

Learning The Science of Coffee At Origin

At Hampton Coffee Company, roasting our Craft Coffee to high standards is what we’re all about.  We’ve been roasting coffee on the East End for almost 30 years now, starting long before almost everyone else.  So, when one of our Roastmasters, Andres Vallejo, received a scholarship to travel to Colombia to learn about the scientific side of the coffee bean, it was an easy decision for him to go.
